AI Foundations for Media Professionals is a 5-day intensive training program purpose-built for the production staff of the National Television Corporation. It equips content creators, animators, directors, editors, scriptwriters, producers, and broadcast engineers with the practical AI skills they need to work confidently, creatively, and responsibly in a media landscape that is being rapidly transformed by artificial intelligence. Every exercise, tool, ethical discussion, and capstone project in this course is built around the actual daily work of professional media production — not generic office tasks. Participants will generate documentary treatments, storyboard frames, character concept art, AI video clips, and narration; they will draft scripts, briefs, and social media packages; and they will leave with a tested, personal AI workflow document they can use in their department from Day 6 onwards.
No programming experience is required. The only prerequisites are a device with internet access and a professional curiosity about how AI is already reshaping the industry.

This short training course introduces the E|C community to Kaizen, the philosophy of continuous improvement, and explains how small, practical changes can strengthen teaching, learning, services, teamwork, and campus culture. Participants will explore the core principles of Kaizen, learn simple improvement tools such as reflection, problem identification, and action planning, and discover how Kaizen can become part of E|C’s shared values and everyday practices. The course is designed for faculty, staff, and students who want to contribute to a more effective, responsible, and improvement-driven college environment.
