This English Language course is designed for preparatory year students at the College of Engineering, accommodating both beginners and those with prior knowledge of English. The course aims to develop students' foundational language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—within an academic context relevant to engineering studies. For students with limited or no background, the course provides a structured approach to building essential vocabulary and grammar, gradually advancing to more complex language skills. For students with an existing background, it offers advanced exercises to refine language proficiency and prepare them for academic communication in engineering contexts. By the end of the course, all students will be equipped to confidently engage in English-medium coursework, discussions, and research essential for their engineering studies.
